The only thing better than finding the perfect dress? Finding it twice. Lela Rose Spring 2015 started with the modernization of a vintage Kimono and takes inspiration from the fabrics, patterns, textures and techniques reminiscent of the transcending Japanese garment. Structured folding, voluminous back panels and wrapped bodice cut-outs, offer a modern take on the Kimono’s traditional elements, while the influence of shape and proportion can be seen in gathered back belting and sloped sleeves.
