For Spring/Summer 2016 collection, Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi, the duo designers of Preen by Thornton Bregazzi turn their attention to contemporary dance, particularly at Michael Clark, the resulting collection invoked prettiness with an edge with body-skimming dresses that fell off the shoulder in a flurry of guipure, ruffles, and mixed prints. Then came a lot of slim lace dresses, layered over short skirts, which had cutout patches on the sleeves that had been re-appliquéd with guipure flowers.
