Simply put, The Art of Fashion is about celebrating authentic, beautifully crafted, sometimes crazy—always genius—fashion. For Spring 2017, Dallas-based photographer Geof Kern envisioned a model-centric campaign, made modern by its strong contrasts in scale and unexpected elements. To wit, botanicals and spraypainted junk cars, like pieces of sculpture, provided a backdrop to statement makers from names such as Saint Laurent, Givenchy, and Valentino—art juxtaposed with art.
